OUR MISSION
Not a Clinic.
A Community.
At Elephant Eye EMDR, we offer a space where healing is anchored in both art and science. We are trauma-informed, body-aware, and deeply human, and we offer more than one path to getting well.
Our licensed therapists specialize in EMDR and trauma-informed care, and bring integrative approaches across mental health, professional wellbeing, and whole-person wellness. Whatever brings you here, we believe in honouring your pace, protecting your dignity, and walking beside you with curiosity, warmth, and respect.
We believe compassionate relationships, emotional safety, and evidence-based care create the foundation for lasting healing, and that no one should have to navigate that journey alone.
WHY ELEPHANT EYE?
A Name Chosen With Intention and Heart
The elephant is a symbol of wisdom, memory, intuition, and emotional depth. These gentle giants live in close-knit communities, grieve their losses, and communicate through subtle vibration and body language, much like the quiet, layered communication that unfolds in therapy.
The eye represents awareness, presence, and the courage to look within. In healing, especially with approaches like EMDR, the journey often begins with how we see ourselves and our story.
We chose Elephant Eye EMDR because we believe healing is relational, embodied, and intuitive.

FAQs
Is the free consultation really free?
1
Yes — every therapist on our team offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation at no cost and with no commitment. It's a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit before you book a paid session.
How do I know which therapist to book with?
2
Start with a free consultation, it's the easiest way to get a feel for a therapist before committing. If you're not sure who to choose, email us with a little about what you're looking for and we'll suggest the best match based on your needs, preferences, and availability.
Can I switch therapists if it's not the right fit?
3
Absolutely. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in healing, and finding the right fit matters. If after a session or two something doesn't feel right, please let us know, we'll help you transition to another therapist on our team without any awkwardness.
What if I don’t know which therapist to see?
4
Send us a message and let us know what you are looking for help with and if there is anything particular type of support you are looking for. We will review your information and help make a recommendation for a therapist that we think would suit you.
Many people reach out when something just doesn't feel right anymore. That's enough. We'll take it from there.
